Les Fenêtres de la rue La Bruyère
Paris has been my home twice... once in 2002 and again in 2007 / 2008. The images in this album focus on how the architecture and the streets shaped my experience, especially the challenge of being present and feeling the history simultaeously.
I have tried to represent this thickness of time, this undeniable presence of the energies that survived in the air, in the structures, in the ground I walked upon, by incorporating fragments of surfaces ravaged by centuries of weather, decay, pollution and human friction.
